Day 5: Olympic Lifts 101
Even though I woke up exhausted this morning, I was still excited to go to class…the instruction is that good. We started learning Olympic lifts today, and I think we will be doing that the rest of the week.
The entire class was spent on the clean, which is like a deadlift, jump, high-pull, and quarter-squat. Sorry that’s a poor description, but you can watch a Youtube video to see what it looks like.
I am also resolving to focus on my own exercises and rep counts this week, so I won’t be writing any more about Joan unless it’s to describe our interactions or what she says when I ask her why she can’t count.
That’s all for today…since it’s a busy week my posts will be short. I can’t wait for class to be over, though, so I can start going to classes at non-vampire-hours.
